Loading sessions in your local time…

How it works

Each session has a typical open and close in UTC: Sydney ~21:00–06:00, Tokyo ~00:00–09:00, London ~08:00–17:00 and New York ~13:00–22:00. The tool converts those windows into your selected timezone.

The London/New York overlap (~13:00–17:00 UTC) is when both major centres are open at once — often the most active period for major pairs.

Example calculation

  • Pick your timezone to see each session's open and close in local time.
  • Open sessions are highlighted; the London/New York overlap is marked.

Frequently asked

What are the main forex sessions?

Sydney, Tokyo, London and New York. London and New York overlap in the afternoon (UTC), which is typically the highest-activity window of the day.

Why might the times shift by an hour?

Session windows follow regional clocks, so they move with daylight-saving changes in London and New York. The tool uses standard windows and converts them into your timezone.

Is it free?

Yes — free, no login, nothing stored. It runs entirely in your browser.
