How it works
Broker server time is the timezone MetaTrader uses internally. To convert a server time to UTC, subtract the server's UTC offset; to get your local time, the tool then applies your selected timezone.
This makes it easy to interpret a trade's open/close time, align candles, or check which session was active when a trade happened.
Example calculation
- Server time 16:30 · broker offset GMT+3.
- UTC = 13:30. Your local time is shown for the timezone you pick.
Frequently asked
Why does MetaTrader server time matter?
MT4/MT5 timestamps and the daily candle close use the broker's server time, which is often not your local time or UTC. Converting it helps you line up trades, news and sessions correctly.
How do I find my broker's UTC offset?
It is usually listed in your broker's specifications or support pages (for example GMT+2 / GMT+3 with daylight saving). Enter that offset and the tool does the rest.
Is it free?
Yes — free, no login, nothing stored. The conversion runs in your browser.
